Dantaxi

Developing a taxi service system that brings our customers safely to their destination.

Keeping in mind the extensive use of client service by customers, TEO offered to design and development of iOS & android apps from scratch. Along with apps, we have developed an extensive backend for reporting and analytics tools and a helper service for these apps. TEO also developed an admin dashboard where the clients get reports and analytics about bookings, accounts, sales, etc.

Introduction

Dantaxi has existed since 1937. Through mergers and acquisitions, they have maintained a leading position in Denmark. Their taxis are computer dispatched using the latest technology available to industry, and they provide a dependable and courteous service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All taxis are equipped with built-in navigation to ensure that the driver can provide efficient and timely service. They have normal 1800 taxis which include Mercedes BMW, and
other high-end cars.

Challenges and goals

Dantaxi needed a reliable partner to design and develop the iOS and Android apps solution for their business because they were only using a backend/API service from a third-party Danish firm that sells taxi software/hardware. Along with apps, there was a need to develop an extensive backend for reporting and analytics tools and a helper service for their apps. TEO had to design and develop this top-quality solution after doing a detailed analysis keeping in mind that the end-users are a wide range of customers.
Dantaxi has also been focusing on the Go Green policy for the last few years and adding new electric taxis each month.

"Our goal was to develop the app for both Android and iOS, and wrote the back end in Microsoft .NET in a tight timeframe with an extended team of developers."
