Existing job opportunity is offered for the right candidates with 4+ years of database development. The job is Islamabad based but traveling to Europe may be expected depending on project requirements. You must possess proven skills in:

• Extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of complex, Large database systems
• Solid concepts of relational, object oriented database and distributed databases
• Must have solid hands-on experience in SQL Server 2005 and MS SQL server 2008
• Must have experience of working on production environment (scripts updates, schema changes, data migration, changing constraints and indexes, extracting critical reports, etc)
• Must be updated with latest tools and technologies related to SQL Server 2005 & 2008
• Must have solid hands-on experience in writing complex T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, functions, performing batch operations etc)
• Must have worked with XML (dealing with xml documents, xml data type, xml indexes, etc) in SQL 2005 & 2008
• Expert in Database Performance Tuning and Optimization of VLDB in SQL Server
• Deep concepts of table partitioning, database partitioning, indexes, query execution and optimization
• Should have worked in CLR Integration
• Should have good practical concepts of Data warehousing using SQL Server
• Must have good command on following SQL Server tools

• SQL Server Profiler
• Estimated & Actual Query execution plans
• Database Engine Tuning Advisor
• SQL Server Management Studio Standard Reports (“Object Execution Statistics”, “Disk Usage” and “Index Usage Statistics”)

• Must have worked on the following services of SQL 2005 & 2008

• Analysis Services
• Replication Services
• Reporting Services
• Notification Services
• Integration Services

And you must have/be:

• BSC/MSC degree from a recognized university
• Hands on experience in relevant technologies
• Quick learner
• Team Player
• Good communication skills
